Why build Crayon again?
I launched Version 1 of Crayon Vision (Built in Unity) in June 2024 just before the release of VisionOS 2.0, which opened up a whole new set of opportunities. 2.0 increased the hand tracking frame-rate to a level suitable for drawing and dramatically improved FaceTime personas. I had originally chosen Unity because of my familiarity with the software, but the possibility of an even more magical and social Crayon experience was too enticing to pass up.
